Courtney and I met by chance, three years ago in a Whole Foods parking lot after being connected in a Facebook group. Her son and my oldest are within a few weeks of each other in age and we’ve kept in touch ever since that meeting! I have had the pleasure of photographing her family twice in this three year span and this last session has my heart. When Courtney told me they were moving to Seattle and wanted a session that would capture the beauty of New England and their time here, we both knew we’d need to do it on the shoreline. There’s nothing more New England than the ocean, shingled homes, desert roses, and beautiful ships. We picked a June date, prayed for a gorgeous sunset, and Courtney styled her family in the most perfect outfits.
