Each year, I try to pick a few local ( ideally Framingham ) organizations to donate a family photography session to for their silent auctions. Education has a special place in my heart, especially with a hard-working teacher for a sister. This is why I chose to donate to Summit Montessori School‘s auction this Spring.

Not only do I love the Montessori concept, I always love meeting new families that are literally my Framingham neighbors! I met the C Family at our local Farm Pond Park which has all the perfect qualities for a sunset session…tall beautiful trees, dirt paths, a beautiful lake. Pair that with an energetic and loving family, a big brother who loves to love on his little sister, and a little sister who is an aspiring ballerina and you’ve got a photographer’s dream!

We started our session in the wooded section of this Framingham park. The tall oak trees act as a great filter for the sun when it’s very bright. The kids were so warm and friendly immediately, eager to make goofy faces for my camera! When the sun set a little further, we headed reservoir-side for some gorgeous views. Sessions with me are all about having fun and you’ll see that in the photos below. There were family snuggles (aka tackles), twirling, and a whole lot of laughing. Check it out below!
