Did you know that Lyndsay Hannah Photography offers seasonal mini-sessions? Mini-sessions are a great way to document your family over the course of a year. They are typically not done as a replacement for a yearly family session, but in conjunction with. When children are little, they change SO quickly that often a once-a-year family photoshoot doesn’t capture the full picture of their growth!

Mini-sessions are quick, generally 15-20 minutes, and are ideal for just a child, a parent and child, or siblings! This Spring, I booked the absolutely gorgeous and serene Unity Farm Sanctuary in Sherborn, Massachusetts for our mini-session day. I generally recommend that mini-sessions are booked by families that I have photographed before. Kids are much quicker to warm up when they see a familiar face and there is not the same amount of initial shyness that can happen if they are unfamiliar. My mini-sessions this Spring were so diverse, which I absolutely loved! Grandmothers and grandchildren, siblings alone, mothers and daughters, a child celebrating his first birthday…a little tidbit of everything!

The families that joined me this April were all repeat clients and it was such fun to see their kids again, meet new siblings, and see how they’d grown!  The grounds of Unity Farm provided a perfect backdrop for the families “on-deck” with friendly goats, a pony, and white geese to watch.
