I have been beyond blessed this year to work with only amazing wedding couples. Couples who value family, connection, love, and personal details above all else. My final wedding for 2018 took place at Wright Locke Farm in Winchester, Massachusetts. Give me a farm wedding any day and I am in heaven. This particular farm focuses on promoting sustainable local agriculture (something I am passionate about) and giving back to their community. But they also host pretty spectacular weddings!
From our very first chat, Susie and Matt made it clear that they wanted to enjoy every moment of their October wedding day. They didn’t want to spend a lot of time on posed portraits and they wanted someone to capture the joy and happiness of the day as it unfolded. Though they took a relaxed approach to the flow of their day, every detail was planned with stunning simplicity. A small wedding party, a simple yet elegant tablescape, and delicious food throughout the evening had their family and friends’ enjoyment as the top priority.
They began their day getting ready separately with their families and closest friends. I followed the bridal party and my second shooter Beth headed to the boys location. We then joined together for a private first look on the Farm grounds.
The late foliage this year was in all its glory for this late October afternoon. I always advise that couples who want to join as much of their wedding as possible have a first look. This plus inviting both sides of their families to join us before the ceremony allowed us to get their small list of posed portraits done with before the events began. As we checked off our list of family portraits, chickens wandered in and out of the frame…classic farm wedding !
Their ceremony was short and sweet with participation from both families. The sun peeking out at the very end just as they exchanged vows felt serendipitous as they joyously headed to enjoy cocktail hour. Dinner was served on long Tuscan tables in a beautiful white tent and then a custom pie table welcomed guests to the main barn for dessert and dancing.
Susie and Matt, thank you from the bottom of my heart for including me on your special day!

"To say that I love each one would be cliche and a total understatement, but seriously... She nailed it. Being a photographer myself, I am very picky and searched dozens of photographers before coming back to lyndsay and booking her and I am so glad I did. I can't even remember the last time I hired a photographer and was this in love with the images and unable to pick just a few favorites. Thank you, lyndsay, for making the photo session easy (with 3 kids), fun and providing this mama memories for a lifetime.”
"Our images are so special and really captured our joy and the sweet personality of our little girl. Lyndsay did a great job going beyond the typical posed shots and making our photos feel authentic. We will treasure them forever."

"We have done multiple sessions (family and newborn) and we’re so happy with the results. Lyndsay makes you feel comfortable and is able to truly capture the moment. We will have her prints hung in our house for years to come."
