One of my favorite parts about being a newborn photographer in Boston is that I get to begin my relationship with these families from the ground up. It’s an incredible privilege to photograph a new little person within 48 hours to 2 weeks of their birth. I feel even more blessed when they come back again for a family session a year or two later so I can see how they’ve grown!

As a lifestyle newborn photographer, my clients get to stay home and relaxed while I come to them! Baby Rhiannon was born at the end of the chilly month of January. I had the opportunity to meet her and her furry big brother in early February when she was just about 3 weeks old.

On the older side for a newborn photo session, Rhiannon was very awake the whole time! With the most adorable printed sheets, two loving parents, and a big pup, there was so much to see!

In my instagram post after their session, I mentioned that Rhiannon’s pup LOVED photos. I really meant it. This gorgeous dog’s name is Brody and he happily joined in to nearly every photograph. We began our session in Rhiannon’s cozy woodland themed nursery and then moved to the master bedroom and finally the family room. I try to photograph in a few rooms in every client’s home. Someday “Rhiannon the big kid” will love to look back and see what her home looked like when she came home from the hospital.
