Molly and Jed kicked off my 2018 as my first wedding of the year. I was very lucky this year to book not one, but TWO, March weddings! And guess what? Both brides had gorgeous, fairly warm weather. March is SO the new July. Do you hear that brides? Molly and Jed’s wedding followed a few weeks of crazy storms and power outages that affected the whole South Shore, even their venue. Luckily for them, everything was restored and ready to go for their big day.
When I arrived to Molly’s bridal suite, the mood was light and everyone was joking around. When I say I felt welcomed to this family immediately, I mean it. Surrounded by redheads, I was right at home! Molly, her sister and mother teased each other as they got ready… lots of laughter made for a very relaxed bride. Choosing to see each other for the first time during the ceremony, the girls snuck off to the limo and headed for the church. The sound of bagpipes welcomed their guests upon arrival. The priest concluded his career as a priest as he married Molly and Jed which made it extra special.
After their vows, we explored the shores of Scituate, ending our portraits at the gorgeous Scituate Lighthouse. Molly and Jed’s reception was held at the beautiful Barker Tavern where they easily earned the title as my most enthusiastic dancing group ever. By far the best part about their day was seeing the love all of their friends and family have for Molly and Jed. From the tear-jerking speeches to the laughter and endless hugging amongst this group, I could just feel that this marriage is in good hands. Here are just a few of my favorite images from their March day!

"To say that I love each one would be cliche and a total understatement, but seriously... She nailed it. Being a photographer myself, I am very picky and searched dozens of photographers before coming back to lyndsay and booking her and I am so glad I did. I can't even remember the last time I hired a photographer and was this in love with the images and unable to pick just a few favorites. Thank you, lyndsay, for making the photo session easy (with 3 kids), fun and providing this mama memories for a lifetime.”
"Our images are so special and really captured our joy and the sweet personality of our little girl. Lyndsay did a great job going beyond the typical posed shots and making our photos feel authentic. We will treasure them forever."
