Two weeks ago, I shared that I had the honor of being present to photograph Bram and Sarah’s epic proposal story.

When Bram first contacted me and told me what he was planning for Sarah, I couldn’t help but get choked up. I admitted that I had not ever photographed a proposal before, but assured him that emotional photography is my forte.  I love nothing more than to tell a family story through my pictures. Boy am I thrilled that Bram took a chance on me because this family was full of amazing emotion. It was a momentous occasion and I am pretty much addicted to proposals now!  You see, this boat was built by Sarah’s grandfather and she spent hours upon hours with him and her family on this boat as a child. When he passed, the boat left the family and exchanged owner’s hands many times between then and now. Well…this amazing groom-to-be TRACKED DOWN THE ACTUAL boat and found it harbored in the Boston Harbor this week. An elaborate corporate gala trip had Sarah fooled and flying to Boston for “work”. Little did she know, this was the beginning of her amazing proposal story. Bram proposed to Sarah atop the third deck and then fully shocked her when both of their whole families emerged from the lower deck. Cue tears all around. The love for this couple, and the love they have for each other was SO evident that gorgeous, sun bathed evening.
